I would like to thank Global Express Travel for the excellent service provided in setting up my trip to China in October. I was very impressed by how easy it was to get the trip set up with you. The flights, visa, and itinerary were all set up flawlessly. I would definitely recommend to my friends to use you when they travel to China.
I was also very happy with the travel inside of China. During the Best Cities of China Tour we were treated very courteously by all we met. Even though we didn’t follow a daily itinerary to the letter the tour guides worked hard to make the sightseeing even better. We never had any problems whatsoever on the entire trip.
I got to see more than I had hoped because the tour guides really where experts and were able to make quick arrangements for the meals and minor changes to keep us on track. Our tour guide in Beijing was Tom. Tom did a nice job and really knew a lot about his town. I learned a lot from him. Our tour guide in Xian was Louisa. Louisa was very courteous and friendly and she also knew a lot about her city. The Terracotta soldiers site was very impressive. Our tour guide for Suzhou and Shanghai was Barbara. Barbara also traveled with us for the entire tour in China including the national flights there. I would like to especially give her recognition. Barbara was amazing. She was so helpful to the whole tour group. She made sure that everyone was taken care of and was happy. Barbara really made us feel like we were family to her.
Recently, I was reflecting back on the China tour and comparing it to other tours I have been on this was the best. This is what prompted me to write this letter of appreciation. Someday if I return to China I will remember Global Express Travel and all of the friendly people we met on this trip. Thank you.

I am almost out of the jet lag. It has taken ten days this time to get it out my system. Renee did not have a chance to worry about jet-lag, as she left for India within two days of our arrival in the States. She is helping her non-ambulatory mom in making a cross country move to a new home in the eastern part of India.
By the way, Renee had a wonderful time shopping in China. She got some jade artifacts & jewelry in Beijing, silk comforters in Shanghai, wood carvings in Xian and other items from the bazaars in Shanghai. The total financial damage to the bank account of yours truly is unknown at this time... but would become clear as the credit card bills roll-in in the next month. But in any event, she was one happy shopper in China... and loved every minute of it. I thought you may like to know this. Thanks again....and God Bless!

My parents had a wonderful time in China!! It was the best to have our own tour guide and driver at every destination. We were so lucky. The weather was perfect and all the sites were very impressive. All three tour guides were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. All the hotels were first class.

We’re still suffering from jet lag a little bit but wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had on our China tour. As I am sure you know, this became a private tour for my brother and me and our wives - it could not have worked out any better! Since this was our first tour of this kind, we really didn’t know what to expect but the accommodations turned out to be all top notch. All the hotels where we stayed were excellent top-of-the-line properties. From the suites we had in Beijing and Shanghai to the brand new hotel in Suzhou, we could not have asked for more. The meals were all very well made and enough to feed many more than just the four of us. The only slight disappointment was during one of our first meals in Beijing when we were served what is best described as Americanized Chinese food. But once we let our guide know that the four of us really would prefer genuine, native Chinese food, the rest of the meals were very enjoyable. And speaking of the guides, the three we had were all very knowledgeable and seemed anxious to make sure we had a good time in their cities. They were all very accommodating to any of our requests. The drivers seemed very capable and we certainly were glad we did not have to drive in China. We feel the sightseeing included in the tour hit all of the highlights given the time we had. The only suggestion we would have is to include the Forest of Stone Tablets in Xian which our guide was able to fit into the itinerary for us. All the visits such as to the jade, pearl, and silk factories were fun and interesting - I just wished there were less great items to buy! All in all, this was probably the best value of any vacation trip we have ever taken and we have taken quite a lot of vacation trips around the world over the past 25 years or so. Thank you and your staff for providing such a super service. It is too bad you do not provide such tours of Southeast Asia e.g. Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, etc.

The Chinese people are beautiful and talented. Everywhere we went we were impressed with the pride the Chinese people take in their country. The work projects are impressive everywhere.
We were impressed with the tour guides and their vast knowledge of the Chinese history in all the cities: James in Beijing, Stone Shi of China Holiday tours in Xian, Tony Hua in Shanghai and Johnny He in Wuxi. These individuals are proud Chinese and love their country and the local areas that they represent. The drivers they use were all skilled safety oriented individuals in traffic with patience and assertiveness when required. The representatives and the drivers are all masters at customer service and supported our every need. They took care of us like we were family members with courtesy and professionalism at all times. They are a credit to the corporations they work for and are goodwill representatives of the tourism industry of the Peoples Republic of China.
